Exciting News! The Hong Kong Science Museum's "Gear Up" Mobile Exhibition is Coming to Our School!
You may be familiar with the terms nano-coatings or even nano flats. But have you ever heard of nano-cars? The Science Promotion Unit has set up a new outreach vehicle “Gear Up” recently to introduce nano-science through a travelling exhibition with the theme of “Nano World”. The exhibition features a fascinating comic story to allow you to explore the nano world with the main characters. You may also experience the amazing properties of nanomaterials with the interactive exhibits of the exhibition. Of course, the “Gear Up” classic mini exhibition van should not be missed. While it may look tiny similar to a nano-car, it is equipped with everything you need for a nanotechnology product demonstration unit. Welcome aboard “Gear Up” to venture into the fantastic Nano World! Hong Kong Science Museum staff will provide explanations in both Chinese and English, and participants will receive gifts for completing the activities. All students and teachers are welcome to learn more during recess and lunch time, ENJOY!
Also, S1-3 Assembly will focus on "Smart Cities, Livable Cities."
We will explore what a smart city is, primarily from the perspective of livability, highlighting the characteristics of the world's most advanced cities. The goal is to increase young people's understanding of smart cities, inspire thoughts on environmental issues and solutions around our living spaces, and discuss how technology can make cities more suitable for living. Please be on time for the assembly in the school hall. Thank you!
